Willow & Well Homecare ("we", "us") provides homecare across London. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us through this website, by phone or by email.

What information we collect

When you enquire about care

Through our Get started form, or when you call or email us, we collect:

• your name, phone number, email address and preferred way to be contacted
• the postcode where care is needed
• who the care is for, the kind of support you're interested in, how often and when
• anything else you choose to tell us, which may include information about someone's health or wellbeing

When you apply to work with us

Through our careers form we collect your name, phone number, email, home postcode, the role you're interested in, your care experience, confirmation of your right to work in the UK, and anything else you choose to share.

When you use this website

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't track you across other websites. See Cookies and storage below for the small amount of information your browser stores.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and talk with you about care, including arranging a visit and preparing a quote.
• To consider your job application and contact you about working with us.
• To keep appropriate records of our conversations with you.

Our legal reasons for using your information are that you've asked us to take steps before entering into an agreement with you, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. Where you share health information, we use it only to understand the care that's needed, with your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

We will never sell your information or use it for marketing without your permission.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with trusted services that help us run this website, and only as much as they need:

• Netlify hosts this website and securely receives the forms you send us.
• Our email provider delivers form submissions and emails to our team.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on this site. Your browser connects to Google to load them.
• Google Translate is only used if you choose a language in our translation menu. The page's text is then sent to Google to be translated.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK data protection law. We may also share information if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

• Care enquiries that don't lead to care are kept for up to 12 months, in case you get back in touch, and then deleted.
• Job applications that don't lead to employment are kept for up to 6 months, and then deleted.
• If you become a client or join our team, we'll explain how we look after your records at that point.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• ask us to correct anything that's wrong or incomplete
• ask us to delete your information
• ask us to limit or stop using your information
• withdraw your consent at any time

To use any of these rights, email info@willowandwellcare.com. We'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please talk to us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies and storage

This site stores only a little information in your browser, and only to make the site work for you:

• Accessibility settings (text size, contrast and so on) are saved on your device so they stay the same on each page.
• A draft of the enquiry form is kept on your device while your browser tab is open, so you don't lose your answers. It's cleared when you close the tab or send the form.
• A translation cookie ("googtrans") is set only if you choose a language, so the site stays in that language. Google may set its own cookies when translating.

None of this is used for advertising or tracking. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Keeping your information safe

This website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, so information you send us is encrypted in transit. Only the people in our team who need your information can see it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
