Our story
It started with someone we loved
When our founder's grandmother began to need a little more help, the family faced the question so many London families face: how do you keep someone safe without taking away the life they've built?
She had lived in the same terraced house for more than fifty years. She knew every creak in the floorboards, which neighbour would pop in for a chat, and how the willow at the end of the garden moved in the wind. Moving her would have felt like asking her to leave herself behind.
So the family found another way. Carers came to her: people who learned how she took her tea, which radio programmes she never missed, and that the curtains had to be open before anything else happened in the morning. Small things, but they were what made her feel like herself.
Those years taught us that great care isn't measured in tasks. It's measured in whether someone still feels at home in their own life. That's the promise behind every visit we make, and the reason for our name: the willow, which bends without breaking, and the simple wish that everyone we support lives well.
